Abstract
La survenue d’une insuffisance rénale aigue au cours d’un sepsis secondaire à plusieurs micro-organismes, chez une même personne est une situation peu courante en pratique médicale. Nous rapportons le cas d’une jeune fille de 16 ans admise aux urgences pour une insuffisance rénale, qui a permis de diagnostiquer plusieurs infections à savoir : paludisme à Plasmodium falciparum, une infection urinaire à Escherichia vulneris, une infection à Schistosoma haematobium, une fièvre typhoïde et une amibiase hépatique. L’évolution fut favorable après traitement.
ABSTRACT
Abstract: The occurrence of acute renal failure in a multiple-organism secondary sepsis in the same individual is an uncommon situation in medical practice. We report the case of a 16-year-old girl admitted to the emergency department for kidney failure, which allowed to diagnose several infections namely: Plasmodium falciparum malaria, a urinary infection with Escherichia vulneris, a Schistosoma haematobium infection, a fever typhoid and hepatic amoebiasis. The evolution was favorable after treatment.
