Abstract

ABSTRACT
Traumatic pharyngo-esophageal injuries account for about 5% of all neck injuries. The prevalence of these often seirus injurires is increasing in developing countries, due to their poorly controlled urbanization. We report a case of posttraumatic medial transversal pharyngotomy with a stab wound.  During his hospitalization, pulmonary tuberculosis was diagnosed and treated with a RHZE protocol for 6 months. A musculocutaneous flap of the pectoralis major was made for the repair of the pharyngotomy wound. These mostly occult digestive lesions, can evolve into cervico-mediastinal cellulitis.
