Abstract

ABSTRACT
Cancer and stroke can co-exist in a patient. Some tumors have a low cerebral tropism. We report a case of cerebral metastasis of an endometrial cancer located in the infarct territory of the right sylvian artery in a 68-year-old female patient. She presented 02 episodes of left hemiparesis within two months. The CT scan of the first episode shown a right sylvian infarction, she fully recovered. In the second episode, the MRI showed a hypointense right parietal area and two parenchymal processe: one in the right parietal area and the other in the left parietal area. Imaging is essential for the diagnosis of brain metastasis within an infarcted territory.
