Abstract
RÉSUMÉ
L’endométriose thoracique est une pathologie rare. Dans notre observation, s’agissait d’une patiente de 40 ans admise en réanimation pour une détresse respiratoire aiguë post myomectomie avec une saturation à 89%. La tomodensitométrie thoracique a mise en évidence un hydro-pneumothorax droit de grande abondance. Le drainage a permis l’évacuation d’un liquide sérohématique dont l’analyse anatomopathologique a révélé des cellules endométriales. L’imagerie par résonnance magnétique a mis en évidence une endométriose ovarienne bilatérale. Mise sous traitement à base de Mitrinelle 2mg, l’évolution a été favorable.
ABSTRACT
Thoracic endometriosis is an uncommon pathology. In our case, a 40-year-old woman was admitted in the intensive care unit for acute respiratory distress following myomectomy, with an oxygen saturation of 89%. A chest scanner revealed a large right hydropneumothorax. Drainage resulted in the evacuation of serosanguineous fluid of which the histopathological analysis revealed endometrial cells. Magnetic resonance imaging demonstrated bilateral ovarian endometriosis. Treatment with Mitrinelle 2 mg yielded a favorable outcome.
