Abstract

RÉSUMÉ
Les auteurs rapportent un cas d’ossification hétérotopique de l’hémi bassin droit révélée par une lombalgie chronique, chez une patiente de 32 ans, sans antécédents particuliers, admise en consultation au service de Médecine Physique et Réadaptation de l’Hopital Général de Référence de Niamey. La radiographie du bassin a mis en évidence une ossification linéaire se projetant entre l’os iliaque et le grand trochanter droits. Le scanner du bassin a confirmé les images radiographiques et objectivé la présence de l’ossification dans le muscle petit fessier droit. La prise en charge a consisté à l’exérèse chirurgicale de l’ossification, suivie d’une rééducation fonctionnelle. Les suites thérapeutiques étaient favorables. Le recul était à 1 mois sans douleur et une reprise normale de des activités socio-professionnelles.
ABSTRACT
The authors report a clinical case of heterotopic ossification in the right hemipelvis revealed by a chronic low back pain, in a 32-year-old patient, with any particular medical history, admitted for consultation to the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department of the General Reference Hospital of Niamey. The Pelvic X-ray revealed linear ossification projecting between the right iliac bone and greater trochanter. The CT scan of the pelvis confirmed the radiographic images and objectified the presence of ossification in the right gluteus minimus muscle. Treatment consisted of surgical excision of the ossification, followed by functional rehabilitation. The therapeutic follow-up was favorable. The follow-up was at 1 month, without pain and a normal resumption of socio-professional activities.
